A lot of people hate pink and green together… screw them, I love it.

Summer Mood Board

When done right pink and green can be preppy, cute, edgy, and sweet.  Bold prints look amazing when paired together, especially florals and polka dots.  Pastels also play well together, try mixing textures and patterns (I like stripes + lace).  You can find a pink and green to flatter any skin tone, and the two hues look great with each other and on their own.  Here’s a few do’s…

Pink & GreenEmmy Rossum – J’adore this green.  Summertime perfection.  This shade makes her skin glow, and the floral is fun.

Leslie Mann – I am living for the lace.  Leslie’s lace front is right on par with John Travolta’s.

Kerry Washington – Prime example of pattern mixing.  The two patterns do not match, but for some reason they werq.

Ashley Tisdale – The bold hue is young and fresh.  The mesh panel screams, I have a hot bod but I’m not a hooker.

Pink and green don’t always go well together…

Pink And GreenWearing something that resembles semen is never a good idea, unless it’s nautical.  This dress is too long, and it isn’t tailored at all.  I would’ve loved this look if Gaga took the dress up a few inches above her knee, and kept the shape (giving us a little 60’s feel).  I must say, I do love the sunnies.  All things considered, this is Lady Gaga… I’ll take an ill-fitting watermelon dress over a meat suit any day.

Shop The Look

Dress – I’m obsessed with this dress.  The color is deep enough to work throughout fall (hello hunter green tights), and the silhouette is perfection.  A cinched waist is always a good choice.  You can get this dress from Modcloth for $52.99.

Tote – Roxy is serving up a pop of beachy fun, in the form of this tote for $42.  Big bags are everything.

Sunnies – These translucent frames have been everywhere recently.  I’m not a fan, but I’ll werq it for the sake of fashion.  Cat eye rims flatter any face shape.  You can get these from Forever 21 for $5.80.

Sandals – A faux leather sandal feels casual, but looks dressy.  You can take them to the office, a party, a meeting, even a bonfire.  Target has a sickening selection of sandals (online), and these were only $15.

Undies – Why not get down and dirty with fun undies.  I prefer boy shorts during summer, you never know when your dress is going blow up.  I mean, it happened to me at Starbucks.  These are from Victoria’s Secret for $3.99… and you can always find the best deals there (google Victoria’s Secret promo codes).

Show Time

Last night I watched Real Housewives of New Jersey, and you have no idea how excited I get whenever Juicy Joe graces me with his presence.

Juicy

But seriously, who reads with a magnifying glass (aside from my grandfather)?  What the hell is he reading, the dictionary?  I’ve also got one more question regarding RHONJ…

I’m not sure if I’d pick Rosie or Laurita.
