Sometimes a little rust isn’t bad…

Fall Style

I mean yeah, I hate it on the top of a mason jar (containing body scrub)… but the color itself is gorge.  Rust is the “it” color of autumn, and it flatters all skin tones.  Anything looks chic in rust, even a crewneck sweatshirt.  Plus, it pairs well with everything (dark denim, brown, white, even pink)!  Here’s how to werq it…

Fall Fashion

Sleek – Play it safe by rocking rust with basic neutrals (white, black, beige).  The shade itself is enough to make a statement.  This style is ideal for the office.  Keep it sleek with shiny locks and solid pumps, like Leighton.

Trendy – Sometimes too much is a good thing.  J’adore all the trends that Olivia is getting down and dirty with.  When mixing trends, stick to similar shades that compliment each other.

Bold – Who knew that rust could werq with pink?… Shay Mitchell did.  I think rust would look sickening paired with plum and emerald too.

Shop The Look

Rust is everywhere, get some.

Jeans – Rusty jeans are edgy.  They look stylish when paired with a creamy cable knit, or a few light layers.  These jeggings are available at American Eagle for $49.95.  I love AE jeans.

Dress – You can never go wrong with a cinched waist.  I’d rock a rusty midi with a cropped jacket, either denim or brown leather.  You can order this dress from Target for $28, I haven’t seen it there… but then again, I haven’t seen NYX there either.

Tights – I’m obsessed with rusty tights and grey dresses.  That color combo is everything.  You can score this pair from Modcloth for $15, but Xhileration also has a pretty good pair for $5.  I like to get cheap tights because my pugs always ruin them.

Purse – Recognize this bag?  It’s featured in the mood board above.  This purse is available at ALDO for $40.  $40 is a nice price for a spacious bag.

Rust is a must.
