Now that Halloween is over, it’s like WTF do I do with these pumpkins.
Bake the seeds, duh! Here’s a quick and easy recipe…
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Place your pumpkin seeds in a large bowl and add 2-3 tablespoons flavored olive oil (I like to use rosemary or parm and garlic), 1 teaspoon of red pepper, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 1 tablespoon of Old Bay (or season all salt). Mix everything up, each seed should be coated.
- Spread the seeds out on a baking sheet, bake for 10 minutes.
- Take the seeds out of the oven, flip them, and bake for another 10 minutes.
J’adore pumpkin seeds. You can eat them alone, in salads, in oatmeal, and in trail mix.
