One serving of ranch is more than a 100 calorie snack pack, and caesar dressing is practically flavored mayo… gross! Oil and vinegar is always a safe choice, but sometimes you can use wayyyy too much. A DIY vinaigrette is the ideal way to add flavor to salads/veggies without packing on the pounds.
You’ll need olive oil, balsamic vinegar, rosemary (or any other fresh herb), and mustard. I actually like to use Dijon, but I only had yellow mustard in my fridge.
Pour 1/4 cup of vinegar, and 1/4 cup of oil into a bowl.
Add a few pieces of rosemary and a squirt of mustard into the bowl. Carefully whisk the mixture until the oil and vinny blend. If you’re feeling lazy, dump the ingredients in a sealable container and shake it up.
