One serving of ranch is more than a 100 calorie snack pack, and caesar dressing is practically flavored mayo… gross!  Oil and vinegar is always a safe choice, but sometimes you can use wayyyy too much.  A DIY vinaigrette is the ideal way to add flavor to salads/veggies without packing on the pounds.

Summer SnackHomemade vinaigrette is a summer must have, especially one made with fresh herbs.  Here’s how to make rosemary vinaigrette, and it only takes like 2 minutes.

Summer Vinaigrette

You’ll need olive oil, balsamic vinegar, rosemary (or any other fresh herb), and mustard.  I actually like to use Dijon, but I only had yellow mustard in my fridge.

Easy Vinaigrette

Pour 1/4 cup of vinegar, and 1/4 cup of oil into a bowl.

Rosemary VinaigretteAdd a few pieces of rosemary and a squirt of mustard into the bowl.  Carefully whisk the mixture until the oil and vinny blend.  If you’re feeling lazy, dump the ingredients in a sealable container and shake it up.

Summer SaladThis vinaigrette tastes good on every veggie that I can think of.  One of my fave summer snacks is diced cukes and tomats drizzled with this rosemary vinaigrette.

Healthy SnackIt’s healthy, it fills you up, and it’s refreshing on a hot day.
